CandleSauce ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit candlesauce.com or use the CandleSauce desktop application, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Website usage: basic, non-identifying analytics (pages visited, referrer, browser/device type) to understand how the site is used.
• Downloads: when you download the app, we log the date, IP address, and browser/device information for security and to measure how often the app is downloaded.
• Licence & billing: your email address and payment details (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers ourselves) when you purchase a licence.
• App usage: the CandleSauce desktop app runs locally on your machine. Your trading strategies, backtests, and exchange credentials are stored on your own computer and are not uploaded to us.

How we use it

• To provide, maintain, and improve the app and website.
• To process purchases and manage your licence.
• To respond to support requests.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not have access to your exchange accounts, API keys, or trading activity — those stay on your device and are only shared directly between the app and the exchanges/brokers you connect.

We keep licence and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
