These terms govern your use of the CandleSauce desktop application and candlesauce.com. By downloading or using CandleSauce, you agree to these terms.

The app

CandleSauce is a Windows desktop application for building, backtesting, and running trading strategies, including a trainable AI (reinforcement learning) agent, against your own connected exchange or broker accounts (Binance, MetaTrader 5, OANDA, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab).

Free trial and licence

• Every download includes a 1-month free trial with all features unlocked. No card is required to start the trial.
• When the trial ends, the app stops functioning until you purchase a licence ($59/month or $588/year) and activate it in the app.
• A licence is bound to a single machine.

Refunds and cancellation

Trading risk

Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. CandleSauce is a tool — it does not give financial advice and does not guarantee any outcome, profit, or level of accuracy in backtests, simulations, or live results. Past performance, whether from a backtest or the AI agent, is not indicative of future results.

You are solely responsible for any trades placed through the app, whether initiated manually, by your own rule-based criteria, or by the AI agent. Live trading is disabled by default and requires your explicit confirmation to enable.

Your exchange accounts

CandleSauce connects directly to the exchange or broker accounts you configure. Your API keys and login credentials are stored locally on your machine and are never sent to CandleSauce's servers. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity on your connected accounts.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimer of warranty

CandleSauce is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any strategy, backtest, or the AI agent will perform in any particular way.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CandleSauce and its creators are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or other damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
